II International Symposium on the Work of Joan Miró
The first international symposium dedicated to the work of Joan Miró, held last year and coordinated by Enrique Juncosa Cirer, was met with great success, and it has been decided to make it an annual event. This year, the symposium will feature Matthew Gale, Juan Manuel Bonet, and Joan Maria Minguet Batllori, three prominent specialists in the early avant-gardes.
Joan Miró y el mundo de la poesía
Lecture by Juan Manuel Bonet
Joan Miró was a creator with a profound influence on art, including poetry. His work, rich in abstract forms, symbols, and dreamlike elements, is closely linked to surrealist literature and other poetic movements of the 20th century. Juan Manuel Bonet has explored this connection between Miró and poetry, highlighting how visual and verbal languages intertwine and complement each other. Miró used his art as a symbolic language that expressed emotions and poetic ideas beyond words
