“Miró, la couleur de mes rêves” at the Grand Palais in Paris

3 October 2018 — 4 February 2019

From October 3, 2018, to February 4, 2019, the Grand Palais offers an exhibition about the Catalan artist’s work. A retrospective focusing on the artist’s pivotal periods, by displaying over 150 works coming from the greatest European and American museums, as well as from private collections.

A sophisticated staging for the Grand Palais areas promoting the painter’s main works and reminding Miró’s Mediterranean universe. Paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculptures… As many materials offering to discover or rediscover the artist and his particular work around “this journey marked by constant renewals”.

Located in the heart of Paris on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the Grand Palais is the iconic monument of the Rmn-GP. Built for the Universal Exhibition in 1900 and dedicated “by the French Republic to the glory of French art”, it was designated as a historic monument in 2000.
