The fifth edition of Open House Palma arrives at the Fundació Miró Mallorca.

Open House Palma is a non-profit, charitable initiative whose main objective is to promote and disseminate the architectural heritage of Palma among the public, understood as a key element of our culture.

It is a diverse and multidisciplinary event where everyone is welcome. Open House Palma’s spirit is to open the city, its architecture, and its heritage to all residents, social stakeholders, technicians, and professionals; engaging local associations and groups across the board, strengthening the social fabric by seeking citizen participation and promoting engagement and dialogue across different social strata, ages, and professional profiles.

Which buildings can be visited at the Foundation?

The Fundació Miró Mallorca has three unique buildings that constitute one of the most valuable architectural complexes in Mallorca. The Taller Sert, a studio designed by his friend and architect Josep Lluís Sert and built in 1956; Son Boter, a Mallorcan house from the second half of the 18th century that the artist used as a second painting and sculpture studio; and the Moneo building, the foundation’s headquarters, designed by Rafael Moneo and inaugurated in 1992. The first two buildings have been declared Assets of Cultural Interest (BIC).
