These agreements highlight the role of century-old companies as active agents in cultural promotion and highlight the importance of preserving and promoting the local productive fabric as an essential part of the island’s cultural life.
Licors Moyà, founded in Artà in 1890, and La Luna, which originated in Sóller in 1900, thus become patrons of the Foundation for the year 2026 through in-kind contributions valued at 10,000 euros each. This collaboration will allow support for a wide program of cultural activities, exhibitions, institutional events and meetings linked to contemporary creation.

Specifically, Licors Moyà‘s contributions will include drinks and associated services for inaugurations, activities linked to exhibitions, institutional acts and prominent events that take place annually at the Foundation. For its part, La Luna will contribute with traditional gastronomic products, reinforcing the cultural experience through the connection with local gastronomy.
With these agreements, the Foundation reaffirms its vocation to open up to society and to build partnerships with local actors, in line with the founding spirit of Joan Miró: to make contemporary art a living experience, accessible and connected to its environment. Furthermore, these alliances symbolize the meeting between two forms of cultural expression: artistic creation and gastronomic and artisanal tradition, both deeply rooted in Mallorca. The commitment of Licors Moyà and La Luna as cultural patrons exemplifies how local companies can actively contribute to the cultural dynamism and projection of the island’s heritage.

The agreements will be valid until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension, and also provide for the possibility of expanding the collaboration to new activities that may arise throughout the year. With this initiative, the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca consolidates a strategic line based on mutual support with companies in the territory, reinforcing a sustainable, rooted cultural model with its own identity.
