Saint John’s Day 2026

A party for all audiences

27 June 2026 from 10:30 to 14:00
Performing arts, Storytelling, Workshops and courses

To celebrate Joan Miró's Saint's Day, we will have a day full of magic, imagination and creativity, dedicated this year to the world of the circus. Juggling, tightrope walking, playful activities, workshops, artistic experimentation and much more in a festive programme for all audiences.

For the 27th of June, we are presenting several free activities, with no need for prior booking and for all ages. You will also be able to enjoy open days and visit the Sert Workshop, as well as the exhibition “Reencountering Miró. The magic spark” in the Sala Estrella of the Moneo Building and the current temporary exhibitions: “Horta Picasso-Miró Mont-roig” by Jean Marie del Moral, “New life after fire” by Carlos Bunga and “La montagna incantata” by Claudio Zulian.

This year’s educational activities programme, designed by the Department of Education and Cultural Activities of the Fundació Miró Mallorca, will be offered from 10.30 am to 2 pm, and will have the circus as its theme, which, just like fire, fills us with magic, creativity and a playful spirit.

Make “balancing” and “juggling” in your daily life literally true for once: participate in the installation of the circus of desires, enjoy an acrobatics show, be surprised by the flying objects in a participatory juggling session, experience impossible balances by creating a cardboard garden and don’t miss the show “The Circus of Poetry” in the auditorium with Maria Rosselló and Mònica Fiol.
