2026 Pilar Juncosa Awards and Scholarships Ceremony

The Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca will host the awards ceremony for the Pilar Juncosa Prizes and Fellowships, an initiative which, in line with the wishes of Joan Miró and Pilar Juncosa, aims to support contemporary creation and emerging generations of artists.

Through these awards and scholarships, the Foundation aims to contribute to the training and promotion of young creators, fostering innovation, research and experimentation across the various fields of artistic creation. At the same time, the call supports research projects linked to the life and work of Joan Miró and his artistic and cultural context, with special attention to the lesser-known aspects.

The awards ceremony will be presided over by the Mayor of Palma, Mr Jaime Martínez Llabrés, as host and President of the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca, by the Director of the Foundation, Antònia Maria Perelló, and will be attended by the First Deputy Mayor and Head of Culture, Mr Javier Bonet, as well as the Foundation’s patrons.

With the support of: the City Council of Palma, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport of the Government of the Balearic Islands, and the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport.
